The Next Step Homeless Services

The Next Step Homeless Services is a leader in our community, providing supportive housing, a Day Room and a resource center for homeless individuals. Next Steps operates three supportive homes: The Buddy Smith Home focusing on military veterans; the Esther Home for women and women with children; and the Gabriel House for men.

St. Bartholomew’s actively supports the work of Next Step. Members of our congregation serve on the Board of Directors; a team provides the noon dinner once a month; and the parish makes an annual contribution in support of the its work.

Interested in learning more about the center? Visit their web site by following the link below. If you would like to volunteer to help with the monthly dinner, call the church office.

The Sack Lunch Program

St. Bartholomew’s contributes annually to the support of the Sack Lunch program. A team of seven to ten volunteers from the church serves lunches every on the second and fourth Wednesdays of every month. If you are interested in helping call the church office or come to the lunch program on one of those days between 10:30 and 11:00 in the morning.
